Most Songwriters Are Not Even Aware that Writing Great Songs is a Craft That Can Be Taught And Learned. We all have natural inspiration and creativity, or we would not be writing songs at all. However, what we are often lacking are the tools and techniques for crafting that inspiration into great songs. You can shortcut years of trial and error by studying the craft of songwriting. Masters Degree in Music Composition from the UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI graduated top of his class with a 4.0 GPA.
BA in Songwriting and Performance from BERKLEE COLLEGE OF MUSIC, graduated with honors: Cum Laude.

Kevin has been teaching music privately for 15 years. He has also been a faculty teacher at the San Diego School of Rock, and Head Instructor at the world famous Songwriter Seminar. He has written, arranged, performed, and recorded the music for Half a Dozen CDs, had national and international radio airplay, performed every style of music imaginable with music groups all over the U.S., toured in southern Europe, and has composed and arranged orchestral compositions. He is an advisor to the San Diego Song Writers Guild, as well as a judge at their Songwriting Competitions. Kevin is currently teaching Songwriting Seminars in the U.S., and teaching private lessons nationally and internationally over the Internet. He is also currently writing the music for his next CD.
Lessons: taught via Phone (Speakerphone), Skype (free internet video conferencing, works with any web-cam), or we have our San Diego Special Discounted Rates if you can arrive in person.
Rates are currently $75 per hour – Current Discount: $55 per hour
